Ingredients

  • 2 fresh russet or yukon gold potatoes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon olive or canola oil, cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • chilli sauce or chili powder
  • lemon juice

Instructions

  • Wash and soak the potatoes, if you wish, peel their skin off.
  • Use a mandolin slicer for making thin chips. Besides, in a bowl, add cold water with salt and there place the slices. Let soak for 15 minutes to remove starch.
  • Drain potatoes, then pat potatoes dry with a paper towel.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 360ºF (182ºC).
  • Pour the potato chips into a bowl, season them with salt, pepper, and with your favorite seasoning. Place slices in a basket or rack and do not overlap too much.
  • Cook for 10 minutes, but flip them about halfway through cooking and leave frying 10 minutes more. Fry in batches if necessary.
  • Serve your air fryer potato chips in a bowl, enjoy with a dressing or sauce.
