Ingredients

  • 1 fresh chicken breast or ground chicken breast
  • pinch of salt
  • ½ teaspoon minced black pepper
  • 3 ground garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Maggi seasoning
  • ¼ cup flour
  • ½ cup ground bread
  • 1 egg
  • non-stick cooking spray or olive oil
  • finely chopped onion optional
  • finely parsley optional

Extra ingredients for hamburger:

  • 2 buns
  • 1 tomato
  • onion slices
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 2 slices of cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • ketchup

Instructions

  • Rinse the chicken breast thoroughly. Chop the chicken breast finely or grind it.
  • Then, blend all seasoning, minced black pepper, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Maggi seasoning, and salt. Once you've done this, season the chicken meat and taste it, adjusting the seasoning to your preferences.
  • Optional step: You can add finely chopped parsley and onion to the ground chicken breast, and blend until everything is incorporated.
  • Shape the chicken patties. You can oil your hands to make it easier to form the patties if you wanna avoid the meat sticking to them.
  • Then, sprinkle the chicken patties with flour.
  • Next, whisk the egg and toss the patties to coat them.
  • Preheat the air fryer at 360ºF (182ºC).
  • Afterward, coat the patties with ground bread.
  • Transfer them to the air fryer and add cooking spray.
  • Cook at 360ºF (182ºC) for 10-15 minutes, flipping halfway through cooking. In order for chicken patties to become crispy, check until golden brown and if necessary add 1-2 extra minutes.
  • Optional: Prepare the hamburger, coating the buns with mayonnaise and mustard. Insert the burger patties into the buns. On top of the burger patties, you can add cheese, onions slices, tomatoes, lettuce and ketchup. Or if you desire eat the burger patties alone with french fries.
