Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 3 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon minced black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar

For buffalo sauce

  • 1/2 cup frank's red hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon honey optional

For blue cheese dip

  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaisse
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 ground garlic cloves
  • dash salt
  • dash ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Rinse very well the chicken wings. If you wish separate drumettes, flats and tips.
  • Combine the spices in a large bowl, salt, garlic, black pepper and vinegar.
  • Toss wings in the mixture of seasonings, coat them evenly. Next, spray olive oil.
  • Put them in one layer on the rack, leaving space between them. Adjust the temperature to 400ºF (204ºC) and fry for 20 minutes. Turn them over with tongs after 10 minutes of frying to cook both sides, and continue to cook until the texture becomes brown and crisp.
  • Prepare the buffalo sauce while the air fryer is working. Melt butter and combine it with Frank's red hot sauce and honey (optional). Transfer it to a container.
  • In another container, stir sour cream, blue cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, garlic, salt, and black pepper. That's it for your blue cheese sauce.
  • Once the chicken wings are ready, completely cover them with buffalo sauce and garnish with parsley. Serve with ranch dressing or blue cheese sauce and celery sticks. Enjoy!
