Ingredients

  • 4 large portobello mushrooms
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon chicken seasoning powder
  • olive oil

Instructions

  • Wash portobello mushrooms gently under running water. Make sure there is no dirt on them. Cook whole or slice them.
  • In a bowl, blend black pepper, garlic, chicken seasoning, salt and olive oil.
  • Add mushrooms to the bowl and coat with the seasoning mixture.
  • With their caps facing down, place them in the air fryer basket. Place them in a single layer to ensure even cooking.
  • Cook at 320ºF (160ºC) for 15 minutes, turn them over midway. Be careful not to exceed the time unless you want them dehydrated.
  • Pull out the basket and serve. Pair with spaghetti or another dish.
