Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 2 Russet or yukon gold potatoes
  • 2 slices cheese
  • pinch of salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion
  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • aluminum foil

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400ºF (204ºC).
  • Meanwhile, scrub, wash and soak potatoes very well.
  • Then, season them with pepper, onion, and salt, if you want a stronger flavor, add garlic to it.
  • Wrap the potatoes in aluminum foil, then cut lengthwise, not too deep. After that, add butter.
  • Place the wrapped potatoes in the fryer basket and cook for 40 minutes in total. However, they must be turned after 20 minutes and left for another 20 minutes. Perforate the potatoes with a fork and if they have a soft texture inside and crisp skin, halt the cooking process.
  • Lastly, add cheese, and decorate with parsley. If you wish, you can bake twice, just for a few minutes in order to melt the cheese.
  • Serve your air fryer baked potatoes and enjoy!
