Homemade French Fries in Air Fryer [No Oil]

This is one of the most famous snacks and sides for fast food restaurants. But, to make such a tasty snack, one would need a lot of oil. However, you can make them with almost no oil, so they will turn into a healthy snack for your nutrition.

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh Russet potatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil, canola oil, or non-stick cooking spray

Instructions

  • Wash and rinse the potatoes, peel their skin off. Then, cut a flat edge of the potato. Now put this cut side down and slice it. Take the slices and pile them, cut into thin pieces.
  • Preheat the air fryer at 380ºF (193ºC).
  • Toss the potatoes with all ingredients in a bowl.
  • Put them into the air fryer basket, trying to not overcrowd it. Leave for 15 minutes, during the cooking flip them.
  • If you desire a crispier texture, keep an eye and flip them again. Once it's done, leave for 5 minutes approximately.
  • Serve your air fryer french fries with your favorite dressing.
