Ingredients
2cupswhite rice
1pieceonion
vegetable oil
1garlic clove
a pinch of salt
3cups of water
Instructions
Check to see if there are any impurities in the rice. Then, gently rinse.
Preheat vegetable oil in a skillet and quickly add an onion clove. Only enough to fry it; if you overestimate the amount, drain or retire with a tablespoon after it's fried.
Immediately after, add the rice, toss in a piece of onion, and stir fry until it is perfectly dried.
Add 2 cups of water, followed by a pinch of salt.
Allow them to boil and check on them occasionally. To test if the rice is done, take out 1 grain of rice with a teaspoon and taste it to see if it is soft. If not, proceed with the remaining 1 cup of water.
To avoid soggy rice, try not to add more water unless the rice is almost dry but the grains are still hard.
Seve and enjoy!
