Ingredients
- 1 bag of frozen tater tots
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon, crumbled
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped green onions or chives
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: jalapeños, salsa, or hot sauce for extra flavor
Instructions
Preheat the air fryer: Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for a couple of minutes.
Cook the tater tots: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry for 15-18 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking. They should be crispy and golden brown.
Add cheese and bacon: Once the tater tots are cooked, sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon on top. Return the basket to the air fryer and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is melted.
Garnish: Remove the tater tots from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Drizzle with sour cream and sprinkle with green onions or chives.
Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. For an extra kick, add jalapeños, salsa, or a dash of hot sauce.
Enjoy your loaded tater tots hot and fresh!
