These fluffy, cheesy air fryer egg bites are a quick and easy breakfast or snack option that you can customize with your favorite ingredients. Perfectly cooked in the air fryer, they’re tender on the inside with a golden top, making them a deliciously satisfying bite.
Ingredients:
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
- 1/4 cup diced bell peppers or veggies (optional)
- 1/4 cup cooked bacon or sausage (optional)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Non-stick cooking spray
Instructions:
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 325°F (160°C) for about 5 minutes.
Prepare the Egg Mixture: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Stir in the cheese, and if desired, the diced bell peppers and cooked bacon or sausage.
Prepare the Silicone Molds: Lightly spray silicone muffin molds or silicone egg bite molds with non-stick cooking spray.
Fill the Molds: Pour the egg mixture evenly into the molds, filling each about 3/4 full.
Cook in the Air Fryer: Place the molds into the air fryer basket and cook at 325°F (160°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until the egg bites are set and lightly golden on top.
Cool and Serve: Let the egg bites cool for a few minutes before removing them from the molds. Serve warm and enjoy!
Tips:
- Feel free to experiment with different fillings, like spinach, mushrooms, or ham.
- For a more creamy texture, use cream cheese or sour cream in the mixture.
