Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Prepare the Cupcake Batter
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
Preheat the Air Fryer
Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Prepare the Cupcake Liners
Place cupcake liners in a muffin tin that fits into your air fryer basket. If you don’t have a tin that fits, you can also use silicone cupcake molds. Fill each liner about 2/3 of the way with the batter.
Air Fry the Cupcakes
Place the filled muffin tin or silicone molds into the air fryer basket. Set the air fryer to 320°F (160°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Cool and Serve
Once baked, let the cupcakes cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Decorate with your favorite frosting or toppings, and enjoy!
