Perfect for game nights or casual gatherings, they’re a fun twist on the classic jalapeno poppers, all cooked to perfection in the air fryer for a healthier, crispy result.
Ingredients
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 4 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 4-5 fresh jalapenos, finely chopped (seeds removed for less heat)
- 2 tablespoons cooked bacon (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil spray (for cooking)
Instructions
Prepare the Filling: In a bowl, mix the softened cream cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, mozzarella cheese, chopped jalapenos, bacon (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until well combined.
Assemble the Egg Rolls: Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface, with one corner pointing toward you. Place about 2 tablespoons of the jalapeno popper filling in the center. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly, sealing the top corner with a little water.
Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
Air Fry the Egg Rolls: Lightly spray the egg rolls with olive oil spray. Place them in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they’re not overcrowded. Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve: Once crispy and golden, remove the egg rolls from the air fryer. Serve immediately with ranch or blue cheese dressing for dipping. Enjoy!
