Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 500 g lean beef (sirloin or flank steak), thin slices of bottom round meat
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup English sauce
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Hickory flavored liquid smoke
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 cup dark brown sugar

Instructions

  • Cut the beef steak into thin strips or squares.
  • Whisk all the seasonings and sauces in a bowl to make the marinade.
  • Place the beef strips into a bowl and coat them very well with the marinade.
  • It's up to you whether you place the recipient in the refrigerator overnight or immediately use it.
  • In an air fryer with a basket, hold the strips over the basket with skewers. To fit the skewers into the basket, cut them down with scissors. Otherwise, just place slices of meat over the rack of the air fryer.
  • Take the murky jerky out from the refrigerator and scrape off any excess marinade. Put the slices of meat on skewers. It is important to leave space between them so that air can circulate properly.
  • Hang the skewers on the lip of the air fryer basket.
  • Insert the basket into the air fryer, being careful not to knock the skewers off.
  • Set the air fryer at 160ºF (71ºC) for 6 hours.
  • Serve and enjoy!
