Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • 1 kg fresh chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • olive oil

For teriyaki sauce

  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger
  • 4 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  • Rub lemon on the chicken wings' skins to get rid of any odor. Then, wash thoroughly.
  • If you wish, separate drumettes, flats (wingettes) and tips. Localize the joints and cut with a sharp knife.
  • Blend in a large bowl, garlic, black pepper and salt. Then, put the chicken wings in it. Coat the wings' skin with the mixture.
  • After that, cover the chicken wings with teriyaki sauce. Sprinkle oil over the wings.
  • Place the wings in the air fryer basket, spacing them out in a single layer, and cook for 20 minutes at 400ºF (204ºC). Use tongs to flip the chicken halfway through cooking.
  • For extra crispy skin, cook for 5 minutes more. When the skin turns brown and golden, stop the cooking process.
  • Serve with a dipping sauce and enjoy!
