Air Fryer Garlic Butter Salmon

Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American
Keyword: air fryer
Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets 6 oz each, skin-on or skinless
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper

Instructions

Step 1: Prep the Salmon

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to ensure even cooking. If your fillets have skin, you can leave it on—it gets crispy in the air fryer!

Step 2: Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

  • In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir well so the flavors combine.

Step 3: Coat the Salmon

  • Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over the salmon fillets, making sure to cover the top and sides. Let it sit for 5 minutes to soak up the flavors.

Step 4: Air Fry the Salmon

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3 minutes. Place the salmon in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 8-10 minutes, depending on thickness. The salmon is done when it flakes easily with a fork.

Step 5: Serve & Enjoy

  • Remove the salmon carefully and drizzle any remaining garlic butter sauce on top. Serve with lemon wedges and a side of veggies or rice.
