Set your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and let it preheat for about 5 minutes. This ensures the tenders start cooking immediately and develop a good sear.
Step 2: Season the chicken
In a large bowl, toss the chicken tenders with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Make sure each piece is evenly coated for the best flavor.
Step 3: Arrange in the air fryer
Place the tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Don’t overcrowd them—if needed, cook in batches to make sure they cook evenly.
Step 4: Air fry until golden
Cook for 9–11 minutes, flipping halfway through. The tenders should be golden brown on the outside and reach an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C). The outside should look slightly charred, like grilled chicken.
Step 5: Let rest and serve
Once done, remove the tenders and let them rest for a few minutes. This helps the juices settle so they stay moist. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce or side.
