Homemade popcorn is one of my favorite snacks, since it’s very easy to make, and it can be sweet, salty or spicy. Below you will find a simple air fryer popcorn recipe to prepare at home.

Instructions

1. If your air fryer basket has large holes, line its base with aluminum foil. If you’re gonna use a rotating basket, it’s not necessary.

2. Add popcorn kernels to the air fryer basket. Then spread them out into one layer.

3. If you wish, fry them without or with oil. You may add salt and butter for a different flavor.

4. Set the air fryer at 400ºF (204ºC) for 8 minutes.

5. Listen as popcorn kernels pop, but when they are popping slowly, don’t continue cooking because they’re done.

6. Pour your air fryer popcorn into a bowl and enjoy. In case you desire a spicy flavor, sprinkle chili powder or hot sauce on top.
