Ingredients

  • 4 medium-sized potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

Prep the Potatoes:

  • Wash and peel the potatoes (optional) and cut them into thin strips about 1/4-inch thick.

Soak the Fries:

  • Place the potato strips in a bowl of cold water and soak for 30 minutes. This helps remove excess starch and results in crispier fries.

Season the Fries:

  • Drain and pat the potatoes dry with a towel. Transfer them to a large bowl and drizzle with olive oil.
  • Add garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.

Preheat the Air Fryer:

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cook the Fries:

  • Place the seasoned fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer (you may need to cook in batches depending on the size of your air fryer).
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the fries are golden brown and crispy.

Serve:

  • Once done, remove the fries from the air fryer and garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy with your favorite dipping sauce!
