Made with simple ingredients and cooked to perfection in your air fryer, Air Fryer Meatballs offer a convenient, healthier alternative to traditional methods. They’re perfect for appetizers, party snacks, or a quick and delicious weeknight meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ½ pound lean ground pork (or all beef works too)
  • ⅓ cup seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon grated parmesan cheese
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (204°C).

2. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except the ground beef and pork. Mix well.

3. Add the ground beef and pork to the bowl and mix gently until just combined. Don’t overmix.

4. Wet your hands slightly and roll the mixture into 16-18 meatballs of roughly the same size.

5. Lightly grease the basket of your air fryer with cooking spray or oil.

6. Place the meatballs in a single layer in the basket, ensuring they don’t touch.

7. Cook for 12-14 minutes at 380°F (190°C), or until the meatballs are golden brown and cooked through.

Tips

  • For an even cook, shake the basket halfway through cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the meatballs. They are done when they reach 165°F (74°C).
  • Let the meatballs rest for 3-5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them more flavorful.
