Can you air fry frozen pancakes?

Frozen pancakes retain their spongy, porous, and soft texture thanks to the hot air circulating inside an air fryer. Microwaved pancakes also keep their soft texture or can be crispier if that is what you prefer, so it’s similar to air fryers.

If you’re planning on buying pancakes at the grocery store, here are some brands to consider:

  • Eggo, frozen pancakes.
  • Eggo, mini frozen pancakes.
  • De Wafelbakkers, buttermilk, pancakes.
  • De Wafelbakkers, buttermilk, chocolate chips pancakes.
  • De Wafelbakkers, buttermilk, blueberry pancakes.
  • Krusteaz, pancake.
  • Earths best organic, homestyle mini poancake.
  • Golden, zuchinni pancakes,
  • Sprouts, banana pancake bites.

The remaining reheated pancakes can be wrapped in aluminum foil to keep them soft or crunchy, or stored in an airtight container to preserve them.

How to cook frozen pancakes in the air fryer?

You can place frozen pancakes directly in the air fryer for quick cooking. Once the pancakes are cooked, you can top them with melted butter. This is such a delicious breakfast to have that you might serve with eggs, juice, a cup of coffee, and more. It will definitely give you energy.

Both frozen store-bought and homemade pancakes can be made this way. It’s the same procedure if you made them from scratch and just stored them in the fridge.

In addition, if they need to be heated up but are at room temperature or cold, place them in the air fryer for 2 minutes.

How long do you cook frozen pancakes?

Depending on what temperature you set in the air fryer, for example, 340ºF (171ºC), they may need 4 minutes. There may be a little variation in the cooking time depending on the size of your pancakes and the model of your air fryer, but not too much. Therefore, if you prefer soft pancakes, 4 minutes should be enough for you. However, if you prefer crispy pancakes, add another 1-3 minutes to your cooking time.
